Design is a process that involves a sequence of problem-solving steps. It utilizes information for a given site in an organized framework so that an appropriate and creative design solution will develop. Creative Surroundings' lead landscape designer, Kerri Cornine, can provide solutions for small and large scale projects (commercial and residential properties). Kerri is a graduate from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in Plant Science-Horticulture, an emphasis in Landscape Design and a minor in Architectural Studies.

Our goal in design is to provide clients with information and guidance to create an outdoor environment unique to the users of the site. We strive to build a lasting relationship with our clients by including them throughout the process of design and helping to connect them to the natural environment.

Once a master plan is complete, Creative Surroundings can provide the client with a bid proposal to implement the idea into reality. We have a wonderful installation team that is caring, prompt, clean, and efficient.

Design does not stop at the installation. We believe in the importance of proper maintenance. Our company can provide a short-term or long-term maintenance contract or a care manual to aid in the success of the design as the landscape grows and changes.
